Fall is my absolute favorite season. I love the cooler weather where I get to wear sweaters and boots, leaves falling, the fireplace on and of course, delicious food that is just perfect for this season. One of my favorite things to eat during this time of year is soup. But I’m usually strapped for time so it’s hard for me to actually get a pot of soup simmering on the stove or in my crock pot. In the kitchen, I like dinners that are quick and easy.
I recently was grocery shopping at Walmart and I decided that with the wind blowing and the temperature dropped to 60 degrees that I HAD to have a dinner that matched my mood. For me, that’s soup! Luckily, there’s a huge variety of Progresso Soups at Walmart to make anyone happy.
I’m a huge fan of the Rich & Hearty Soups like Rich & Hearty New England Clam Chowder while my husband loves the Traditional Chicken Noodle Soup. Paired with a bread bowl or a sandwich, this makes for a filling and delicious lunch dinner that tastes like it’s from a restaurant!
I’m usually a fan of soup and sandwich for lunch or dinner, but I decided to pair our Progresso Soups with a bread bowl which made it so filling. I love that the Progresso Soups are made with fresh ingredients so you can feel good about feeding it to your family. When I served the soup to my husband for dinner, he thought it was homemade soup – it’s that good!
Another great thing about Progresso Soups is the variety you can choose from. It’s hard to get bored with dinner when you can have something so different each night of the week. I’m inspired to try the soup in a casserole dish next week!
If you’re looking for food to get you in the mood for fall, look no further than Progresso Soup from Walmart!
