Review and First Blog Giveaway! *CLOSED*

I already talked about in a previous post on how picky of an eater Hayden is! In fact, my kid won’t even eat peanut butter and jelly! What kid doesn’t like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? Heath and I have tried giving it to him several times and have even tried giving him peanut butter by itself. No go!

I am always looking for new things to feed Hayden that are also healthy. When I found out that Jody Sherman, who is the CEO of EcoMom (Formerly SproutBaby.com), was looking for Moms to review a new organic food line, I jumped on the chance! 

I was thrilled when I was given a box of Organic Jammy Sammys to review! I was anxious to see how Hayden liked the Jammy Sammys so for his snack time I opened up a Strawberry Jelly and Peanut Butter snack and gave it to him along with his milk. He did what I expected him to do. Eye it cautiously, give me his look of “What Mom? Where’s my crackers? Oranges?” and then carefully put the snack in his mouth. 

And what do you know? He loved it!!!

He gobbled up the Jammy Sammy (I love the name!) so fast and kept saying “More, more!”.

We also received a pouch of Organic Mashup Squeezable Fruit to try also. I was skeptical of if Hayden would like this. He is fruit crazy for sure, but didn’t know if he would like the “puree” of it. I decided to try a little bit of myself to see what it tasted like.
Um, YUM!! It was berry flavored and so good! I was reluctant to give it to Hayden, but I did. And he loved squeezing the pouch into his mouth! Another success at new foods! What I’m most excited about the Mashups is they are great to just throw in the diaper bag or my purse.
