Thanks to Energizer I got a chance to try out one of their new flameless wax candles in exchange for sharing my opinions of it.
I received the 3×6 Vanilla pillar candle to try out. Pillar Sizes range from 3×4 to 4×8 (MSRP:$4.99-$23.99). There are also glass jar candles with lids. Besides Vanilla, there is honey vanilla, pumpkin spice, driftwood, and pomegranate passion scents (have seen other scents with styles online as well).
The candles do not come with batteries. Mine uses 4AA, but I have seen others have different batteries requirements. Not a problem to find batteries that work when it’s made by Energizer!
They are available for purchase on Amazon. I saw the 3×6 for $13.99 today on there.
I have seen plastic candles at Christmas, but have never seen a real wax candle that has a battery powered light in it. This candle is really wax. You can scratch it with your fingernail, and it could melt if too close to a heat source.
Also it has an auto shut-off timer you can set for 4, 6, or 8 hours. What I liked best was the timer for automatic turn on. I just turn it on and put the switch to the setting on the bottom and the next night on it came! With two cats and two kids I love that there is no real flame!
The scent is very mild. I would love a little more scent, but for the style and function I can deal with that. It is a really realistic looking candle, and has the wavy top like it’s been burning. Looking at it you’d never know it was battery powered. The light flickerings and give a nice romantic glow. I could see a few of these and a hot bubble bath..perfect!
