Right now, St. Louis is in the middle of a HEAT WAVE!
There has been a heat advisory out for the past few days, with the heat index reaching as high as 115 degrees!
It’s so important to remember to stay hydrated!
I’ll admit that when I’m thirsty, I am known to drink soda.
I shouldn’t, because water is the BEST bet to fuel your body and quench your thirst. I don’t like the flavor of plain water, so I love that there is flavored water out there as an alternative.
I used to drink flavored water all the time when I lived in an apartment. I stopped buying the bottled water though, because I hated lugging it up 3 flights of steps.
Now that we are in a house though, I have no excuse!
I headed to Walmart to pick up some essentials and also intended on bringing home some of Walmart’s Clear American Flavored Water!
There are so many different offerings of water at Walmart! They had one LONG aisle of water, with both sides filled with choices!
But I wanted flavored water, so I looked at what they had!
The flavors sounded delicious! So cool and refreshing on this HOT day!
You also can’t beat the price! Only 64 cents a bottle! What a deal!

I loaded up my cart and headed home to get these bottles on ice!
Since it was so hot out, I wanted to Pay It Forward by giving some ice cold bottles of water away.
Hayden and I were originally going to head to the park, but it was honestly just too hot out!
Hayden and I decided to make a game of it and look out our windows for the many people that walk their dogs and run in our neighborhood!
We hurried outside to give someone a taste of Clear American Water!
She was SO grateful!
She was also very surprised! She kept asking me where I got it! I had to tell her Walmart several times!
I let her choose between Lemon and Cherry. She choose the lemon and said it was so refreshing and that it tasted a lot like Sprite!
I was excited when she told me she would buy some on her next shopping trip to Walmart. I had to tell her about all of the different flavors they offered and the fact that it’s only 64 cents a bottle!
We had a few more that we handed bottles out to when we flagged them down!
(How people were running in this heat, I have no idea!)
They were all so grateful for the water!
I definitely recommend trying the Clear American Flavored Water from Walmart. I bought some Cherry for me which I love, but gave away all the bottles of Lemon I bought. It was so popular, so I’m going to have to get some for myself next shopping trip!
I also LOVED handing out bottles of water. In this heat, it was such a fun thing to do because everyone is appreciative. I plan on carrying more bottles of water with me to hand out.

People always look at me funny when I say I don’t like the taste of water. “Water doesn’t have taste” is the response I always get. But I grew up on well water and it certainly DOES have a taste that isn’t good! So I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one who says that!
I love flavored waters but I’m not a fan of lemon in my water so I hadn’t even considered buying that flavor. Hearing that it tastes like Sprite will push me to give it a try!

I usually don’t like lemon in my water either, but I love Sprite, so I’m really going to buy the lemon water and give it a try!

Oh-and I will have to try Clear American water! I think the heat somehow overlooked us in our little part of the US, but it will be the perfect thing if it does spike!
