There’s no flip flopping about this. flipflop wines is GOOD.
I’m a big fan of a glass of wine at the end of the day. I was thrilled when flipflop wines sent me two bottles of wine to review. I’m not a fan of heavy wines so I was thrilled when they sent me two light-bodied wines to taste. They were absolutely the perfect wine for Spring and Summer.
The first wine I chose to try was the 2010 California Pinot Grigio. This wine was so refreshing and another good word for it would be clean and crisp.
The official description of the Pinot Grigio is: Light-bodied, refreshing Pinot Grigio with tropical citrus, ripe pear and a zesty, clean finish.
YUM!
After a hard day of cooking in the kitchen, I was happy to sit back and relax with a glass of Pinot Grigio. It was the perfect end to the day.
I was also sent 2009 Washington Reisling wine to try. I saved this for a special occasion.
Jimmy Buffet was coming to town and we were arriving early to, well, party!
I threw on my flip flops, grabbed the flipflop Reisling Wine and off we went!
The atmosphere at a Jimmy Buffet concert is all fun. Having the Resiling wine with me was a perfect companion.
In my Hula skirt, with my glass of Reisling wine…..it was perfect!
flipflop wines was created by David Georges. He discovered his love of winemaking when working on a small vineyard. He was inspired to learn more and attended the University of California to study vinticulture. After that he perfected his skills by working at several well-known wineries.
I also love that flipflop wines participates in the wonderful program Soles4Souls. For EVERY bottle of flipflop wines that was purchased they will donate a pair of shoes to someone in need.
Make sure to discover all of the different wines at flipflop wines. You can also follown them on Facebook and Twitter to receive the latest updates.
Disclosure: I received two bottles of flipflop wines to facilitate my review. All opinions are 100% my own.
Mmmmm, send me some!
It was so good! 😉
I love the picture with the wine and the hula skirt! Can’t get any more fun than that!
Oh my word, you are so much fun! Jimmy Buffet, your hula skirt AND a glass of wine?! LOVE it! We just might have to give FlipFlop Wines a try. You know, with Margaritaville playing just loud enough that it won’t wake the kids up. I wonder why I don’t yet own a hula skirt… 😉
Wish I’d known this when it was BOGO at Publix a couple of weeks ago! Definitely gonna have to try it now-thank you!
p.s. I agree, the hula skirt’s a keeper 😉
