When we decided to visit Orlando, Florida this year to get some Disney World time in my first thought went to Global Resort Homes! We stayed there in September and I absolutely loved not having to be cramped into a small hotel room.
This year we stayed in Reunion Resort, which is a full service resort offering up everything you would need for your vacation! This gated community offered up everything from a spa, fitness center, arcade, biking and jogging trails and golf! Eleven at the Grande is a rooftop bar featuring delicious food and drinks! Make sure to visit a little before 9pm and you’ll be able to watch the fantastic firework displays from Walt Disney World, which is only 6 miles away!
We spent a good time driving around the resort in awe of how gorgeous it was! I couldn’t wait to actually get to the house we were staying in!
The house we stayed in was 7513 Excitement Drive and featured 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. If you were traveling with a larger party, there is also an additional living area in the garage, complete with another bathroom!
After a long day at the parks, there is nothing like coming back to an actual HOME! There’s plenty of room to spread out, a full kitchen to cook in, comfortable beds and only steps away from your own pool to relax in!
We loved relaxing in the downstairs living room {Yes, I said downstairs living room, there is another one upstairs!} and just reading or watching TV on the comfortable couches.
The kitchen in the house was absolutely gorgeous! I wish I had a kitchen like this at home because it made me want to just stay at the house and cook! We made a stop at Publix, which was less than a mile from the house and stocked up on everything we would need for the week! It was so nice to save money by eating at the house instead of the parks every morning.
I loved being able to fill the fridge with bottled water, juice boxes and fruit so we could easily pack it into our cooler every day. The Disney Parks do allow outside food so you can save money by buying all the snacks and food you need at the start of your vacation!
The master bedroom is on the main floor and there are three additional bedrooms on the second floor – plenty of room for a large extended family!
There is a bedroom upstairs that has its own bathroom and then two bedrooms share a bathroom. With a little nook to work in, separate living room, poker table and a balcony there’s a guarantee you won’t get tired of your family on this vacation!
I loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer! With a toddler, that came in handy and I liked being able to throw our swimming suits in the dryer so they weren’t so cold the next day!
The pool was fantastic and was always a nice 80 degree temperature! Attached to the pool was a little hot tub also that I loved relaxing in! Hayden had a blast in the pool every day! As a parent, I liked the fact that there was a pool fence and lock on the pool to keep wandering toddlers out.
I also loved being able to just spend some time either poolside blogging or outside on the balcony. Global Resort Homes come with free wifi in case you need to stay in touch during your trip! Check out this view we had!
If you’re headed to Orlando, Florida you must look into Global Resort Homes! You won’t ever go back to a hotel room!

Wow! This house is beautiful!! I’m going to have to check out Reunion Resort – love how close they are to the parks! I also love that all the pools have a kid-proof fence around them. Great safety perk! I could definitely see myself enjoying that great balcony too! SO so pretty!

How cool! I didn’t even know there were such places. Wonder if there are any on the West coast.
