I have to admit, when I found out that I was having twins, one of my first worries was how was I going to get around? Yes, I would have help but I still had to get my son to preschool, get to the grocery store and more. I don’t like being cooped up at home and even when my son was little, we were on the go.
Thanks to the Joovy TwinRoo Stroller though, I can still get out and about!
The Joovy TwinRoo is a frame stroller that lets you insert your twins infant carseats in. I love this so much because when researching strollers for twins that would take car seats, so many of them were very bulky or wouldn’t take the Chicco car seats that we had purchased.
With the Joovy TwinRoo, you just pop the infant car seats in (you’ll hear the click!) and then you’re on the go. It works with current Chicco®, Graco® and Peg Perego® infant car seats. To get the car seat out again, you just release it with the car seat’s release level in the back.
With the Joovy TwinRoo, the infant car seats are placed sideways and opposite of each other. At first, I wasn’t too sure of this but once we clicked on the car seats, I loved this option. When out with the twins, I have easy access to getting them in and out or popping in a pacifier when they start getting fussy. When the girls get older, they will also be able to see each other and even hold hands since they are side by side.
My husband and I recently headed to the store with our girls plus our preschooler. One thing my husband says is a MUST for a stroller are cup holders. He was thrilled that the Joovy TwinRoo features FOUR cup holders. I love that the cup holders aren’t at the top where you push, but down low so there’s no chance of a beverage spilling onto the babies.
And while you’re out shopping, you need somewhere to store your bags and diaper bag, right? Underneath where the car seats go, there is plenty of storage! I was able to fit my diaper bag plus a few shopping bags.
The TwinRoo is also super lightweight and features front swivel wheel locks, rear wheel brakes and front wheel suspension. I loved pushing it around the mall and we had SO many people comment on how cool looking the stroller was.
When it came time to put the TwinRoo back into our car, I thought it would be difficult but my husband had it all figured out and showed me that you can fold it up one handed! Once it’s folded up, it really doesn’t take much room in the back of our van as opposed to my son’s bulky stroller.
The twins love the Joovy TwinRoo and I do too! The stroller frame has a maximum weight of 70 pounds (35 pounds each) so we will be able to enjoy this convenience for quite awhile!
You can find out more about the Joovy TwinRoo and purchase it on Joovy.com or on Amazon.com for $119.99.

This double stroller looks fabulous! I love that they are side by side – they can see eachother!
That’s smart about the beverage holder being on the bottom. I love hot tea, so can’t use the beverage holder on my Snap N Go twin stroller since it’s up high.
