I’m not sure if it is because I’m now in my thirties, or maybe it was all of those pregnancy hormones, but my hair is wavy. Not the beautiful glossy Hollywood starlet waves. No, it’s coarse, uneven, sticks out every direction; the back is wavy the front is stick straight! Left to it’s own devices, it’s a mess! Needless to say, I was a ponytail girl! Taming it took the better part of an hour. I tackled it by drying it as flat as possible with a round brush and hair dryer. Then I flat iron it in itty bitty sections, going over and over each piece trying to get it to comply!
So why if it takes so long at home does my hair stylist have my hair straight and shiny in just minutes? It’s all about the flat iron! And the KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron is amazing!
How fast is it? I washed my hair and let it air dry and let it dry to it’s own frizzy devices:
The KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron heats up really fast, to 410 F in just 30 seconds! And did you know that in addition to straightening your lovely locks, you can also straighten, flip and even curl your hair? As a gal who loves her highlights, I really like that it tames the frizz and it lasts a very long time. It is no wonder that Flat Iron Experts call it their #1 Best Flat Iron!
Why does this flat iron work so well? Technology, of course!
- Tourmaline / Ceramic Technology: KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Hair Straightener’s distributes heat across the entire surface evenly, retains heat more efficiently, and eliminates damaging hot spots. Ceramic emits a natural source of negative ions and far infrared heat that helps your hair
- 1. Preserve more moisture within the hair shaft
- 2. Eliminates frizz and close the cuticle to create smooth and shiny hair
- 3. Causes less damage to the hair cuticle during styling
- Negative Ion Technology: Negative ions are atoms that can stop the growth of bacteria, fungi, etc., resulting in healthier hair and scalp. Negative ion energy is powerful enough to break apart clusters of water molecules. The smaller water molecules penetrate into the hair shaft by slipping between the cuticles, adding plumpness/volume to hair. The bombardment of negative ions also closes the hair cuticle, which is very good for the health and appearance of the hair.
- Far Infrared Heat : Far Infrared (FIR) rays are electro-magnetic waves of energy, totally invisible to the naked eye, capable of penetrating deep into the human body, including the hair shaft. It therefore dries the hair from the inside out. The result is that more moisture remains in the hair shaft and there is less damage to the hair.

WOW! It takes me at least 20 minutes to straighten my hair with my flat iron.
Your hair looks great! I’m going to check out this flat iron!!

I had an older flat iron that looked more like two blocks… it was heavy and didn’t get as hot. It took FOREVER! This flat iron is awesome!

Oh my gosh, I want one of these SO bad. I love how you showed the time elapse. I don’t have near as thick of hair as you so it might take less time.

I had also let my hair air-dry which seems to “set” the frizzy waves. It would have been even quicker if I had blow-dried it straight, but my hair has been bleached, dyed and everything else, so I try to limit the extra bad stuff I do to it!

Great transformation! My hair went from stick straight to wavy about 10 years ago. I could use an easy way like this to remedy the wavy, frizzy mess on top of my head!

Mine was straight too… now it is wavy, but just in the back-the front is still straight. Too bad that isn’t in style!

This looks awesome. Of course, I have stick straight hair so it would not be of use to me but my friend, Jennifer, would love it! She always complains about how long it takes her to do her hair in the mornings.
