Hi guys, this is Cassie from over at Crazy & Cool with a side of Crafty. Melissa asked if my girls and I would like to test out a new iPhone app (also available for iPods and iPads) and of course I said yes because we love out iPhone games.
The game is called My Little Pony: Twilight Sparkle, Teacher for a Day. Ruckus Media took the concept of the movie and turned it into a book with mini games to play. You get three options for reading the book, have them read it to you, you read it yourself, or you can record to read it to your child. So far we have only used the first part (them reading to you) and my oldest loves it.
When you first open the game and the home screen comes up you choose one of the reading options. From there the story and games begin. The Story follows Twilight Sparkle on her journey to learn about the past and to teach the young students about it as well. While you are reading the story you will come across some games as well to help Twilight and her friend Spike, who is a dragon.
I feel that all the games are perfect for my 5 year old to play. One of them is a tilting game, which is sort of hard for her but she can do it. All in all this has become one of our go to apps while out and we need to keep the girls occupied.
