When I was pregnant with Hayden, I was obsessed with diaper bags. I constantly checked them out in-store and online to find the perfect one. Unfortunately, I ultimately went for cuteness in a diaper bag rather than how practical it was. The diaper bag I ended up getting had a short strap and not enough room for everything I needed.

When we found out that we were pregnant with twins, I knew I would have to find a diaper bag that would hold not items for 2 babies but also my toddler’s miscellaneous items that I usually throw in my purse. When researching the best option, one diaper bag kept coming up again and again!

Skip Hop Double Duo Diaper Bag

Exterior

There are 4 different colors to choose from, and I chose the Onyx which looks like any purse that I would buy also. But, I knew that my husband would be happy to carry it around too.

The outside of the bag is made of a durable poly-canvas material, so you know that it will last for years – not to mention through numerous babies! There are three large pockets on the outside of the bag to hold those items that you need to get to fast, like pacifiers or burp cloths. The pockets have a magnetic closure to keep things in. There are also TWO mesh pockets on the side of the bag to hold bottles for you or baby!

On the other side of the bag there is a large pockets to carry a changing pad {the bag comes with one!} or as my husband said, his iPad! Next to that is a pocket that is perfect to carry a case of wipes.

You can wear the bag messenger style {which is what I prefer} or as a tote bag. One of my favorite features though is how you can attach the diaper bag to any side by side double stroller using the Shuttle Clips that come with.

Interior

With twins and a toddler, I know I am going to have to be organized – and that includes my diaper bag!

The Skip Hop Double Duo Diaper Bag opens very wide so you can fit a ton in there. I also really like that the lining of the bag is silver so it’s easy to search for anything you need since it contrasts so well against the outside of the bag.  There are three mesh pockets to store various items in addition to two pockets to hold bottles.

There’s a great zippered pocket which is perfect for a wallet, cell phone or keys – those items that you really don’t want to lose!

Below is a picture of what I have in the diaper bag right now – a full size, unopened bag of wipes, 20 newborn diapers, 4 newborn sleepers and 2 huge swaddling blankets. I’ve also got my wallet in the pocket inside in addition to some pacifiers.

In total, there are 16 pockets on the Skip Hop Double Duo Diaper Bag – perfect for two kids or more! I can’t wait to start using it when the twins arrive!

I also love that the Skip Hop Double Duo Diaper Bag is the ONLY stroller bag designed for a double (side-by-side) stroller. It includes the new Shuttle Clips; a unique strap and fastening system that allows the bag to attach neatly and conveniently to the handlebars of a double stroller!
