In our home, we do a pretty good job of making sure we recycle everything that is recycleable. But our process in which this gets done could use a lot of work! A lot of times we have a paper grocery bag sitting on the counter collecting pieces of recycling bit by bit. What a nuisance this is and unsightly at that! Rubbermaid has solved this problem with the Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler!
It is a handy bag that attaches to the inside of your cabinet door with either the included hooks or screws. It has a handle that is convenient for picking up and toting to the outside recycling bins to empty. It fits up to 36 12-ounce cans and is large enough that you can put a milk jug inside. The bag has a leak-proof liner and if something were to spill, it is machine washable! The bag is made from recycled products and it is itself recycleable!
I love the Hidden Recycler! For our family, it fits about two average days worth of the usual recycling-the empty cans and boxes of rice, the flattened milk cartons, toilet paper rings, junk mail and the miscellaneous plastic vitamin bottle. And after the two days, it’s not heavy or messy! My kids actually want to take turns taking the Hidden Recycler out to the big recycling can! It fit perfectly with the hooks on our cabinet door and it never got heavy enough to make me worry about doing damage to the hinges. I would definitely recommend this Recycler to a family that wants to streamline the recycling process!

We were in a town that was single stream, now we are no curbside but will be moving back into town instead of in the country so will have single stream again.
I used to recycle everything but now that we are in the country, I don’t really have anywhere to put it so we have started to lack on it. I can’t wait until we move and I can start recycling again!!!
