My husband and I joke about the amount of tech devices we have acquired over the years. We will happily admit that we are tech geeks and love to get our hands on the latest products. With my husband being an app developer, he also loves to a wide variety of devices to play around on.
In my daily life, I used to use an iPad for on the go blogging or checking the internet. It was also a lifesaver when traveling or going to conferences. I’d have my iPhone for checking email and keeping touch with friends and family via phone calls and text. Then, I’m a HUGE reader so my husband bought me a Kindle so I could read my books – it replaced my Nook that I had. I can’t forget my DSLR camera also – a must with 3 kids! When my twins came, all of these devices were a must-have in the hospital or those LATE nights when I was nursing. But it got overwhelming switching back and forth between all of these devices.
When I received the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 from Verizon Wireless, it was a game changer for me. No longer did I need 4 different devices – this was an all-in-one device for me! The phone is packed full of features to make life easier!
Socialize and Be Productive
Of course, the number one thing I use my phone for is to keep in touch with friends and family, plus network with others for my blog. I can easily chat with my family and friends via text or making a phone call like any other phone. It’s also my go-to device for networking via Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Pinterest and Instagram – yup, there’s an app for all of that! With the ability to use multiple windows at once, I can open up Facebook while also having Sippy Cup Mom open so I can easily share links from my site, right from the Galaxy Note 3!
Being able to do all of this right from my Galaxy Note 3 has made me a more productive blogger and social media manager. I’m able to use the WordPress app from the phone so I can blog on the go. Using all of the apps I mentioned earlier help me keep in touch and network.
Blogging conferences or taking notes at the PTA meeting at my son’s school just got easier too with the S Pen. The S Pen lets me use my own handwriting to take down notes and then I can easily text, email, add to my calendar and more with it!
Be Entertained
I absolutely love to read on my Kindle and even though I don’t have my Nook anymore, I have a lot of books still on my account. My Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has now become my reading device! With a 5.7 inch screen, it’s comfortable enough to still be my phone but big enough to be my main reading device. Plus, I love having the option of both the Nook and Kindle app to easily switch back and forth between my libraries.
As far as catching up on shows on Netflix, I usually would turn to my table to watch them, but I can comfortably watch my favorite shows right on my Galaxy Note 3.
Take Pictures
While I love taking pictures with my DSLR camera, I hate lugging it around. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a 13-megapixel camera and takes some pretty amazing photos. There’s also a ton of different modes that I like to play around with like Drama mode, Animated Photo, Sports, Surround shot, Panorama, Eraser, HDR, Beauty Face, Best Photo and Sound and Shot. It’s my go-to camera now to document my daily life!
If you’re looking for a device that can replace several devices, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 from Verizon Wireless is what you’re looking for!
Disclosure: As member of a pretty cool team of influencers, I received the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with line of service from Verizon. No additional compensation was provided nor did I promise positive feedback. All opinions are my own.

Ok, so I am pretty sure I need one of those 🙂 I like the size of it, too. It’s bigger than my iPhone, but not as big as a tablet.

This phone looks amazing! I think I am ready to get rid of my iPhone 5 because this looks like it has much more features. We can’t wait to see the new Pirate Fairy movie by the way!

I was working with Verizon on device reviews and got the Samsung Galaxy Note3 to borrow for about a month. I cringed when it was time to give it back. I loved it so much. So, just recently, I ditched my iPhone5 at the Verizon store and picked up the Samsung Galaxy Note3. I am in LOVE with it. You’re right, it’s totally an all in one device. I call it my mini-tablet. Love your review!

Wow! That is amazing! I’m taking my 3 month old to three conferences this year and I’m trying to figure out how I will take notes, share, etc. I wish I was up for a new phone, I’d totally get this.

I’m totally impressed with the picture quality. If I ever decide to leave my iPhone I’m for sure going to get them phone. I’ve heard so many great things about it and your post just confirms what I’ve been hearing.

That is such a cool phone! I like my iPhone because it makes doing social media really easy, but I miss out on so many cool features – and a great camera – with it. I also have a Lumia 1520 and the camera is fantastic, but it’s not as easy to handle as my iPhone. The Samsung seems to be somewhere in the middle!

I’d love a pen to take quick notes. I’m terrible with typing and know a pen would be so handy

It does sound and look pretty darn good.. I like it all and of course would love to have one.

What an awesome gadget! I love that it comes with a pen for taking notes (way faster for me than trying to type them on the phone). I’m so impressed with the quality of photos it takes too!
