Christmas is only 33 days away and I’m starting to write a list for Hayden. Pretty soon, family and friends are going to start asking what he wants for Christmas! I used to not like to make lists because I felt like I was telling people what they should be getting for my son. Then I realized that friends and family want to know what to get! It makes their job easier and it saves me from having to exchange duplicate gifts!

Registering is super easy, and happens in 2 easy steps where a parent will create their list names and give Santa some ground rules (like maximum number of items and price range). Then by either helping your recipient through the fun drag and drop process of filling their list or sending them an email from the jolly guy himself, recipients fill their List by adding items. Once a list is full, either in full or in part, Santa is good to go! Share a Lists with family and friends through email. An email will alert parents when there are updates made to a List by a recipient or a friend or relative.

Best part, the parent is in control: can make changes to Lists, add or delete items and avoid duplicates. You can let family and friends know you are using Santa’s Hideout for gifting through Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Tumblr by accessing the social sharing tool in the upper right hand of the site.
