Christmas is only 33 days away and I’m starting to write a list for Hayden. Pretty soon, family and friends are going to start asking what he wants for Christmas! I used to not like to make lists because I felt like I was telling people what they should be getting for my son. Then I realized that friends and family want to know what to get! It makes their job easier and it saves me from having to exchange duplicate gifts!
When making a list for your child for Christmas, you can go to individual stores and make a separate list. Or, you can check out Santa’s Hideout!
What is Santa’s Hideout?
A safe, fun and easy way to make holiday gifting magical for the whole family! PLUS it will make planning EASIER for you! Santa’s Hideout lets kids make their lists for “Santa” and trusted friends and family can shop and share from them easily. Parents can track purchases and send special messages of encouragement to their kids from the jolly guy himself… and so much more!
How does Santa’s Hideout Work?
Registering is super easy, and happens in 2 easy steps where a parent will create their list names and give Santa some ground rules (like maximum number of items and price range). Then by either helping your recipient through the fun drag and drop process of filling their list or sending them an email from the jolly guy himself, recipients fill their List by adding items. Once a list is full, either in full or in part, Santa is good to go! Share a Lists with family and friends through email. An email will alert parents when there are updates made to a List by a recipient or a friend or relative.
Best part, the parent is in control: can make changes to Lists, add or delete items and avoid duplicates. You can let family and friends know you are using Santa’s Hideout for gifting through Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Tumblr by accessing the social sharing tool in the upper right hand of the site.
I’m so excited about Santa’s Hideout. With more and more things going digital, this is such an easy way to create a Holiday Wish List in once place. Then, you’re able to share through your social networks.
As parents, we can set the budget, send our children a note from Santa encouraging them to keep up the good work and so much more! Your child’s list is also password protected so it’s not getting into the wrong hands. Best of all? Santa’s Hideout is FREE!
