It’s bad but I can’t even tell you the last time that I went to the salon and got my hair cut. It seems that as Moms, we tend to put ourselves last when it comes to taking care of us. I’d much rather spend the money on my kids or us doing something fun together as a family than on my hair! But, it’s getting pretty bad. The worst thing about my hair – besides the grays that are sneaking in up top – are the split ends. They always seem to get so bad and then I get embarrassed when I finally DO get my hair cut and the stylist comments about them.
Recently, I’ve been using Suave Split End Rescue Shampoo and Conditioner from the Suave Professionals line. The products are currently on rollback at Walmart for $2.50 – you really can’t beat that price for fixing your split ends and getting hair like you’ve just left the salon. It’s salon-proven to strengthen as well as Paul Mitchell® SuperStrong ® Daily shampoo and conditioner to help help cleanse and condition hair, transforming split ends into healthy-looking, strong hair after just three uses.
What’s better than $2.50 a product? How about $1? On Sunday, September 28th, there will be a coupon in the Sunday paper for $1.50 off Suave Professionals which means you can pick up Suave Split End Rescue Shampoo and Conditioner for only $1!
Looking at Pinterest, there are some crazy things you can try to do to get rid of split ends besides getting a hair cut. I’ve seen to put coconut oil in your hair or even egg yolks. Also, raw honey and then an olive oil and avocado concoction. I honestly don’t have time for that which is why I’m using Suave Split End Rescue Shampoo and Conditioner!
What are some drastic things you have done to get rid of split ends without getting a hair cut?

I haven’t used their new products, but they sound wonderful!
I haven’t seen this product yet… but I love it and am going to look for it the next time I am at the store!> 🙂
Split end repair under $3 at Walmart can’t be beat. I could totally use that right now.
I haven’t seen this product yet but I’m definitely going to look for it the next time I’m in the store. You can’t beat the price of Suave and they do have some great hair care products.
I have the worst hair!! I wonder if this would help.
I haven’t seen this before, but I’d love to find it for my teens bright pink ends- that split so badly from being dyed.
I really wish I could use Suave as it is so affordable. With my hair being curly and dry it has never worked for me. My hubby and son do use it regularly, there hair is straight, soft and always smells great.
Suave is my favorite shampoo & conditioner! I haven’t seen the Split End Rescue, but I’ll try it when I see it!
I’d much sooner buy a bottle of this then start concocting things on my own. So much easier and convenient
Lucky for me I have baby fine silky smooth hair, or maybe unlucky for me as I fight to get some volume in it!
We love Suave. Im going to have to try this.
I will definitely have to check this out. My hair is pretty long and I deal with a lot more split ends than I’d like!
My split in’s are pretty bad. I need a good hair cut and some of this!
I hate split ends. I will need to check out Suave.
I love the Suave Professionals line. I get split ends too, so I’ll have to try this next time.
I’m the same way! I remember to go get my haircut once a year usually. It’s pretty sad.
Suave products are always great for value. Sometimes I have tried leave in conditioner to avoid split ends.
This is a great way to pamper yourself as a mom! I will have to check out this shampoo.
