This is so convenient if you’re not able to leave the house or work yet need to see a doctor that day. During operating hours, you’ll see a doctor within 60 minutes – and usually within 15 minutes!

SSM Health virtual visits are best used for non-urgent health conditions like a cold, flu, sinus infection, pink eye, urinary infections, heartburn, and allergies. They can also help treat select children’s services, including ear infections, rashes, and head lice.

Even better, SSM Health virtual visits are only $25, no insurance required. For me, this is lower than a cost of an urgent care visit PLUS I’m able to do it from home. 

How To Use SSM Health Virtual Visits

Using SSM Health virtual visits is easy too. To get started, you’ll head to the SSM Health Virtual Visits website on your computer on mobile device where you’ll start your visit. 

Then, you will fill out a questionnaire about yourself and your symptoms. You can get as specific as you want because this will help the doctor to diagnose you better. There’s even photos that will pop up to help you better describe where the pain or problem is!

If a prescription is needed, the doctor will send a prescription to the pharmacy of your choice. In the case of the doctor not being able to address your concern, you will be sent to a physical SSM location.
