Being a mom of a toddler, I appreciate anything that will help me save time and money. I used to put off doing loads of laundry (and when you are potty training, there is a lot of laundry) for as long as I could. Time is precious to me and I admit it, laundry just isn’t fun.
With our old washing machine there were many times that I would do a load of laundry in the late evening, thinking I would have time to put the clothing in the dryer before bed. Many times I would pass out before making the switch and our clothes would sit damp overnight and then I’d have to wash them again in the morning.
Then, there were the times that my inefficient dryer wouldn’t dry the clothes properly or they would be a complete and utter wrinkled mess that I would have to dry the clothes all over again!
Talk about wasting time and money!
Now, with our new Whirlpool Washer and Dryer, I’m saving both time and money!
Energy Saving
The Whirlpool Duet is the most efficient washer and dryer. The washer and dryer work together to make the whole laundry process easier by using faster spin speeds in the washer and sensors in the dryer!
The Whirlpool Duet lets you save as much as $3,300 in lifetime energy costs and for every household that uses the Duet, they could save 12,857 gallons a year!
Time Saving
The Whirlpool washer’s EcoBoost option helps you take the guesswork out of efficiency by reducing the water temperature and increasing agitation duration so the decrease in one temperature is offset by the temperature in the other. This provides the same results, but with less energy! The dryer also has an eco-cycle to help save energy and time.
The 7.4 cu. foot dryer lets you dry more at once, meaning laundry is done faster and more efficiently!
Money Saving
With the Precision Dispense Ultra, I buy a bottle of HE Laundry Detergent and pour the detergent into the cartridge. The cartridge will hold up to 18.5 oz of liquid detergent, which means 36 loads of laundry, depending on the cycle!
With the Fan Fresh option, I can select to have laundry in the washer tumble for 16 hours. This is great for when I leave laundry overnight. It saves me money so I don’t have to wash it again!
I’m loving the Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer!

I love the idea of the Fan Fresh option! I am notorious for accidentally leaving laundry in the washer overnight. I’m always having to re-wash things!

Great review. I have 2 toddlers as well as a laundry service from my home. I found a little trick to help save time on drying. Tennis balls. Toss them in and they cut down drying time by about 25% while fluffing bulky items at the same time.
