As we get closer to the end of the year, it’s not only getting colder outside but it seems that everyone in the household starts to get sick. When I’m feeling miserable, there’s nothing I love more than spending time in my Serta iComfort Mattress – and my family agrees!
Being almost 6 months pregnant with twins, I’ve been spending a lot of time in bed! Not only am I needing an almost daily afternoon nap, I’ve been going to bed earlier and earlier also. Add in that I’ve been sick the past few weeks, my iComfort has become my haven!
The Serta iComfort has helped me {and my family!} so many times in the past few months:
– For all those aches and pains, the Serta iComfort features an adjustable foundation that also has a massage option with varying levels of intensity. It’s the perfect way to end the day and helps me fall asleep!
– In the past month, my whole family has been sick at one time or the other. My son had such a bad cough that we let him sleep in bed with us at night so we could keep a better eye on him. One of the things that has really helped with our cough and congestion is the ability to raise our heads while sleeping. Not by having to sleep on multiple pillows, but by raising our actual bed. The adjustable foundation allows us to raise the head of our bed to exactly our comfort via wireless remote. It’s been helping us sleep better at night with our coughs.
– Since the weather has become cooler, we have started putting our heat on. It used to be that I would get super hot in the middle of the night and have to stumble into the hall to turn the heat down. With the Cool Action Gel Memory Foam, it creates a cooler and more breathable mattress which means no more suffocating nights!
– Being pregnant means there is a lot more tossing and turning. The bigger I get, the more my hips ache! While the iComfort ease some of that pain, I love that I can get in and out of bed {bathroom trips!} and switch sides without disturbing my husband’s sleep because of the strong support of the memory foam. With our old bed, my husband would feel every move I made!
The Serta iComfort mattress has us all sleeping better! Even my son sneaks into our room in the early morning to snuggle. We have to make sure to hide our bed’s remote though our we will wake up with our head and feet raised! I know that feature will come in handy though toward the end of my pregnancy and it’s harder to get out of bed – I’ll just raise myself out of it!
What are some of your favorite things about your bed?
Disclosure: I am a 2012 Serta Blogger and am being compensated for my time and participation in the program. I am also receiving an iComfort Mattress. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thanks to Serta for banishing the counting sheep from my life
I so need one of those Serta iComforts for our home. We need to buy a new one here soon, and I’m currently shopping around. Putting this one on our list!
I loathe our current mattress. This sounds nice–need to check it out.
Aaah! Sounds like a super comfy bed.
Your Serta sounds like an awesome bed!
If anyone needs a comfy bed it is you! Having a good bed is so important when you’re pregnant. Our bed has been perfect for me in my pregnancy.
A massage option? No way!!!
Sounds so heavenly! I’d love to buy a new, quality bed within a few years before we start having kids.
Its amazing how much difference a great mattress can make!
Oh girl I’m JEALOUS! Those beds look so comfy! Glad you got it!

No way! This mattress has a massaging level? That is so neat. My husband would love this (we’ll me too) he’s always got aches and pains that our current mattress doesn’t help. We’ll be putting this on on our wish list.
This bed sounds like heaven!
Hi. My husband and I actually just purchased an IComfort mattress this week. We did not get the adjustable option but we did get the memory foam and the cool comfort option. We choose the firmer one. My husband LOVES it. Me, on the other hand is having a harder time adjusting. I wake up with a sore neck and upper back. I don’t know if it takes some getting used too. But also where we bought it, you have 100 and something days and you can return/exchange it.
I love that you have the option of trying it out! Which one did you get? We got the Renewal Refined, which I think is a good combo of the firm and soft (I like soft!)
