Last year while pregnant with the twins, I had FOUR bouts of sinus pain. It felt like it went on for months and let me tell you, I was pretty miserable. I was trying every natural remedy there was and some nights I would spend hours in the steamy shower, trying to get my sinuses to open up. I couldn’t wait for next winter when I would eventually become sick because I live in a hour full of kids and I would finally be able to take Sudafed and survive! Basically I walked around feeling like I looked like this:
A hammer to the head, a ton of bricks knocking me over and a C clamp firmly on my nose, stopping me from breathing. When I’m suffering from sinus pain and pressure, I feel like it’s the worst thing in the world. A few weeks ago, I felt that sinus pain coming on and I hightailed it to the store to pick up Sudafed for some relief. With 3 kids, Mama doesn’t have time to be down!
Looking for other people that felt my pain, I headed over to the Facebook page where I played around with the Sinus Sketcher on the Sudafed OPEN UP™ app. That’s where I created that lovely picture above trying to describe HOW I feel when I’m suffering from sinus pain and pressure. You can upload a picture and use the Sinus Sketcher yourself and then share with friends so they know how you feel.
After you share, you’ll get a coupon for $1.00 off Sudafed or Sudafed PE coupon, or a $2.00 off Children’s Sudafed product! Those are savings you’ll definitely need as we enter cold and flu season. I enjoyed taking a look at the Sudafed Facebook page where others were commiserating together about how much we hated sinus pain and pressure….but we were all thankful for the relief that Sudafed brings!
Read on, Sinus Sufferers! I happen to really relate to the very last tidbit on the Sudafed infographic!
Sudafed knows that suffering from sinus pressure and pain can leave individuals feeling crushed, beat down, congested and even squeezed, desperately looking for a way to open up. Serious sinus sufferers are invited to creatively share how their sinus pain and pressure looks and feels to them by using Sudafed’s OPEN UP™ application on Facebook.
Then, beginning on December 2, the Sudafed Facebook community will vote for one of five finalist sketches that best illustrates the pains of sinus pressure. The winner will receive $5,000 and a chance to have their work included in a Sudafed advertising campaign. For more information, visit the Sudafed Facebook page.

The picture is funny, but so true. We are a family of sinus pain and allergy victims. Sudafed is a big help to the hubs and kiddos, but my BP limits what I can take. Thanks for the coupon.

that picture is hilarious and if I ever have another sinus problem, I’ll try it out. We haven’t had sinus problems or infections since we began milling our wheat and staying away from flour/bread at the store.
