My six year old is in first grade and they are learning to tell time on clocks with hands. It’s so fun to watch her start to put things together: like the fact there are two 12:00’s, noon and midnight! Also, everyday she has lunch at 11:05 and school ends at 2:50. She is also getting very into time management for herself. Such as, what time she has gather her school bag and lunch and what time the first bell rings.

The Sprout timepiece we chose for my daughter is adorable. The fuschia strap is made from organic cotton, the petite ivory case, buckle and orange bezel are made from corn resin and it has a natural bamboo dial. This fun watch sports Roman numerals with emphasis on the 3, 6, 9 and 12. The chrome hands are great because even though this watch is the perfect size for my big girl’s still small wrists it is super easy to read. Another HUGE bonus about this watch is the secure buckle. Even though my girl can easily get it on and off this watch is going to stay put.
