I am so ready for Spring to come. The weather these last few months have been full of bitter cold. I haven’t left the house much with my three kids just because I don’t want them exposed to it. I remember last month when we had that big snow and temperatures dropped into the negatives, I was so worried about people out there that were homeless or wouldn’t be able to afford to keep their heat on. Thanks to Laclede Gas and the United Way, you can very easily help others that are in need.

Laclede Gas and the United Way have teamed up on the DollarHelp program to provide relief to residents who struggle to pay their heating bills. It’s so easy – simply check the red box on their gas bill to donate one dollar a month to a neighbor in need. Laclede Gas will match each monthly donation, up to $55,000.

“Share the Warmth” and Win!

Laclede Gas is hosting a “Share the Warmth” photo contest on their . Customers will have a chance to win the ultimate winter warm-up – a trip for four to Cardinals Spring Training in Jupiter, Fl., and a meeting with Matt Holliday!

All you have to do is submit a photo demonstrating how they “share the warmth.” Customers who share a photo by Feb. 25th will also be eligible to win one of nine runner-up prizes including regular season tickets to a St. Louis Cardinals home game.
