My Favorite Milestones
the first bath. observing every little toe and roll being as careful as can be not to break them.
the first time they smile at you while nursing. which lights up your face!
the first time they laugh. the cutest laugh in the entire world!
the first time you look away for a few seconds and they are all the way across the room. and immediately you have to “baby proof” the house.
the first time they pull themselves up. what happened to my baby?!
the first tooth that pops. after days, weeks, and months of teething.
the first time they sleep through the night. which my oldest did early on, but my little one has yet to please me with.
making it to six months nursing! {w/ my youngest}
the first time you give them solid food and the face they make.
the first kisses and hugs. which hopefully last forever!
the first time they take a step all by themselves. its all over!
the first birthday. in which you spend too much money and time over, more for you then for them =P
the first time they say “I love you” back. pretty sure there is nothing else they could say that can be a wonderful as these three words.
the first picture they made just for you. even if its scribbles.
the first overnight stay away from home. which you cant enjoy because all you can think about is if they are ok.
the first night in their “big kid” bed. which you later regret because they wont stay in it.
the first day without any accidents in their pants. this is huge!
the day they become an older sibling. its bittersweet.
the first day they choose what to wear. which in fact is bright pink shorts with a turquoise shirt and mismatched socks.
the first time {after trying a gazillion times} swinging on the swing by themselves. so you dont have to swing them for an hour!!
their first day of preschool {older sis starts this fall!} *sigh*
