Welcome to Stalker Saturdays from The Life of a Sippy Cup Mom, The Adventures of Goober Grape and Monkey Man, and Stash Mama!
We all have to start small. Stalker Saturdays was created to help the little blogs that we stalk to gain new followers. These are blogs that we find interesting, hilarious, touching, crazy…but they need a little help being pushed into the limelight.
All that we ask is that you visit the stalked blogger and check their blog out (you might even say that you’re stalking it!). If you become a new follower of theirs, let them know you’re following them from Stalker Saturdays!
Interested in being stalked? Do you ever feel like someone’s watching you…? Contact either Sippy Cup Mom, Goober Monkey or Stash Mama and let them know…and we might stalk you next!
This week we are stalking The Small Town Mom! Tara started her blog when she discovered cloth diapers and since has become an expert! She also has a segment on her blog called Stash Stories Saturdays, where cloth diapering Mama’s can tell their journey to building their stash! Guess what I am going to be featured! I couldn’t be more excited! So hop on over and take a look at her Stash Stories Saturdays and awesome blog!
Happy Saturday everyone!! My name is Tara and I am currently living in a small town south of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. I married my husband in 2008 and we welcomed our first child who we like to call Blondie into our family in December 2009. Shortly after she arrived we started to cloth diaper her and my fear of the unknown became an obsession, err… scratch that, a passion! I love reading and talking about all things cloth, I always learn something new. I really enjoy helping others discover cloth diapering and just talking with those who are just as crazy about it as me so a blog was born! I enjoy spending my days at home with my daughter and taking day trips with my family sightseeing around Minnesota! I invite you all to stop by and say hello!!

Weekend Travel with Cloth
Traveling with cloth diapers is nothing new to me. I have taken many weekend trips away from home with the first one being just a week after I switched to cloth diapers. (You can see my make-shift clothes line to the right from this weekend in Iowa for my diapers!) Most of my trips have been short enough where I could get away with not having to do laundry, but luckily they have all been with family and they very generously let me use their washer (I know some people have a big fear of washing dirty diapers in the same washer as their clothes). This past weekends travel to Iowa was no different than previous here are a few of my traveling tricks!
*Plan ahead of time! Plan where you are going to wash your diapers and how often, plan your storage space for them(clean and dirty) and plan for how you are going to clean off the soiled ones.
*Bring all your diapers! You never know what might happen, and as long as you aren’t tight for luggage space it really is less stressful to know you have plenty of diapers.I like to put them in their own suit case that way I know exactly where they are at!
*Bring extra soap. To help avoid build-up on your diapers bring enough soap to use for everyone’s laundry.
*Don’t forget your wetbags! They really keep the smell down and the mess at bay.
*Bring flushable liners, they make clean up quick and easy!
Traveling with cloth diapers is 100% do-able! If you are tight for space, not quiet ready to bring your others, or don’t want to stuff pockets and wait for AIO’s to dry think about AI2’s or even covers with biodegradable inserts!
Right now Tara has a giveaway for a FuzziBunz one size cloth diaper! Woo I love Fuzzibunz and this giveaway ends 9/14 and still has low entries so be sure to go enter here.
