As a Mom of a 6 year old and almost 1 year old twins, life can be chaotic. It seems like I’m always running around, upstairs and downstairs, from one room to the next. I am constantly telling my husband that I need to get organized. In fact, it was one of my New Year’s Resolutions but it’s February now and I’m not any closer to getting my house organized. But I’m a little more organized now when it comes to changing diapers thanks to the Playtex Diaper Genie Diaper SmartCaddy.
Let me tell you, I spend A LOT of time changing diapers. Luckily it’s not like the early days anymore where I was changing over 25 diapers a day. We are down to about 12-14 diapers a day between both Olivia and Evie. Sometimes changing diapers can seem like a comedy {or a horror film!} for my husband and I. I’ll be in downstairs in the basement with the girls and I’ll need to change a diaper stat. I’ll yell for my husband to throw me diapers down the steps. Then, wait! I need some diaper cream! There have also been “emergencies” where the baby wipes have been downstairs and one of us has had to hustle down to bring them back up to their room.
You can probably tell by now that I’m pretty disorganized. I tried bringing diapers and wipes down separately, but the girls would just start playing with them and then I’d be finding diapers under the TV stand. With the Playtex Diaper Genie SmartCaddy, I can now be completely organized {and stylish!} when it comes to diaper changing in any part of our house.
One of my favorite things about the Playtex Diaper Genie SmartCaddy is that you can use it as one large diaper caddy OR you can separate them into two which you can bet that I did! Now, I have one diaper caddy upstairs in their bedroom – or I can easily bring it into the living room – and then another that is strictly for the basement. It even has velcro straps if you want to strap it to something so it’s out of reach for curious babies.
The Playtex Diaper Genie SmartCaddy also has TEN pockets! Ten! That means I can stuff everything I would possibly need in the middle of a diaper change into the caddy. I’m pretty sure I can fit more into this diaper caddy than my purse!
You know how kids are able to pretty much get anything dirty? The Playtex Diaper Genie SmartCaddy is water resistant and easy to clean, so no worries if your new stylish diaper caddy gets dirty!
You’ll find the Playtex Diaper Genie SmartCaddy at Target for $19.99. This is definitely going to be my new go-to shower gift for moms-to-be!

That is a fantastic way to stay organized and what a huge help that would be for those middle of the night in the dark diaper changings! Everything would be in one place and so easy to find!
This is awesome! I hunted for something like this 18 mo ago when my twins were born. Ended up buying a 31 bag to do the same thing for me, but it’s not as efficient as this is. And, from one twin mom to another, I totally sympathize with all those diaper changes.
If I win this, I would give it my sister, a first time new Mommy who loves to keep organized but struggles with her diaper organization, I think she would put this next to her living room where she changes her little girl often.
This is awesome! I could have used something like this when my kids were still in diapers. I so rarely actually changed them in their rooms on the changing table because, with my first 2, that required a trip upstairs, and with the next 2, I needed to keep an eye on the other kids. This would have made life a lot easier!
looks like a really handy little caddy!! I could still use this now and I don’t have a kid in diapers
Love that Playtex Diaper Genie SmartCaddy! I would keep mine in the bathroom on the counter!
I would give this to my cousin who just had twins 4 weeks ago!
That holds a ton! I always am digging for things and sending my oldest back to the bedroom to “pretty please grab just one thing” for diaper duty.
That’s a lot of pockets! My mom used to have something like this, but in a little wicker basket she repurposed. If she had only thought of this 20 years ago and made it!
I really like the Playtex Diaper Genie SmartCaddy. It’s perfect for the mom on the go. It would make a great baby shower gift!
We don’t have kids BUT I have a lot of friends that do and I know my cousin would love this Playtex Diaper Genie Diaper SmartCaddy! I would love to be able to give one of these to her!
As the mom of 7 year old twins, I’d like to say this “Don’t worry too much about being organized. It just may not happen.” Someone commented the other day that I must be super organized to have 4 kids. I told her that you don’t have to be super organized, you just have to be super flexible and just decide that your standard about orderliness may not be as high as every one else’s. 🙂 I’m glad that the diaper genie works so well for you. Everything you can do to make life easier helps tremendously! 🙂
That is sincerely an awesome, awesome product and I wished I would have had something like this when our daughter was younger. We had a two story home, so I would have kept this on the main floor for diaper changes so I would not have constantly had to go up to her room to do it. That being said…I would still use this today…as a cleaning caddy! It looks like it would be a great accessory to tote around the house with all my cleaning supplies from room to room (so those that use it now for babies, think long term with this one, don’t give it away!).
That caddy is amazing! I could see how you could use it for a million different things too!
If I win I am giving the bag to my friend that just had her 1st baby. I am positive she will love it.
OH I love caddy’s of any kind, but I’m going to enter this giveaway for my niece. She just had baby number 4….she’ll need it.
So cute! I’m hoping my two-year old won’t be in diapers much longer; otherwise, I would totally enter. Your little model is adorable, by the way.
I had to reread the first sentence! lol I make mothering one child look hard:) With twins, it is even more important to stay organized. Ten pockets is the best feature. I lose things, easily, so this helps keep everything in one place.
I had something similar to this with my first baby. But I didn’t use it that much. I tend to change diapers in the same spot and that is where I keep all my stuff.
That caddy is awesome! I would have loved to have had something like that when my daughter was a baby!
I could totally use this caddy in my trunk, or downstairs area! My son wets his diapers like a river!
This diaper caddy looks awesome. I ran into many of the same problems you did and this seems like a great solution.
I love the idea of a caddy. I remember the diaper genie from when my girls were small… they have evolved into new designs.
I would keep it in the car.
would be perfect for the car to keep some supplys organized as i have one potty training and one in diapers and i am always forgetting something at home
I have this and totally love it!
At my brother’s house for my new baby niece.
I would keep the caddie under the side table in the living room.
On the changing table if I keep it.. If I win I might give to a pregnant friend.
In the living room where we always are!
We need it for the car!
I would give this to my best friend so she can have something extra in her living room for convenience!
by the changing table
I would most likely keep it in the baby’s room. Otherwise, having it in the car is not a bad idea either. Never hurts to be organized. Who knows when a blow out will happen! 🙂 Julie smartsavvymama@gmail.com
I would keep it in my den for when my nieces bring their little ones over
I’d keep one in the family room and one by the changing table.
