The weather outside is chilly so this time of year, I love taking my son to the movies. The latest animated movie we are excited about is Strange Magic, in theater on January 23rd. Strange Magic is a new animated film from Lucasfilm Ltd and a madcap fairy tale musical inspired by “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Popular songs from the past six decades help tell the tale of a colorful cast of goblins, elves, fairies and imps, and their hilarious misadventures sparked by the battle over a powerful potion.
We can’t wait to see the movie and to celebrate the upcoming release, we decided to make Bog King Mud Pie! The Bog King rules the Dark Forest and is #1 enemy is love! Voice by Alan Cummings, this mud pie seems just like something he needs – it’s full of sweetness!
If you’re looking to throw a fun Strange Magic inspired party before or after you see the movie, there’s tons of great ideas thanks to Disney! See below for recipes and crafts!
