Superheroes are a huge hit in our family. My son always wants to read books about any superhero. He also insists that he must dress-up as Batman even though it is hot and his costume is made for winter. When I found out that the Gateway Grizzlies was having Superhero Night, I knew that my family had to attend.
On Saturday June 18, C.A.S.A of Southwestern Illinois, the voice for abused and neglected children, will present Superhero Night. This night will feature an in-person, epic battle between Batman and Superman!
The Gateway Grizzlies will be having fun, Superhero-themed games throughout the night and a COSTUME CONTEST. Please make sure to dress up in your favorite superhero gear! Fans will also have the opportunity to bid on the jerseys in a silent auction.
The Gateway Grizzlies will be hosting the Florence Freedom in the ultimate showdown. For this matchup, the Grizzlies will protect GCS Ballpark and its fans in Batman-themed jerseys, while the Freedom will try to destroy everything in their Superman-themed jerseys. ONLY ONE WILL STAND VICTORIOUS so Go Grizzlies!!!
The first punch is thrown at 7:05 p.m. and gates will open at 5:45 p.m. Make sure to represent your favorite superhero and help fight for GCS Ballpark and the C.A.S.A organization!
After the game, the Gateway Grizzles will be having a jersey off the back auction. What is even better about this auction is the jerseys are Batman themed! All proceeds are donated to CASA.
Purchase tickets to the Gateway Grizzlies Superhero Night! We hope to see you there!
