For the past month, it seems like my whole family has been sick. I was sick with a sinus and ear infection and have this cough I just can’t seem to shake. But at the same time, all three of my kids have been sick off and on with you name it – stomach bug, ear infections, cough, fever. But like most moms, I tend to put myself on the back burner to take care of my kids and get stuff done. But moms – it’s SO important to take care of yourself, not only for your family but YOU.
That’s why I am so excited to learn that Sam’s Club has teamed up with health technology company higi to make free, self-service health screening stations available at most Sam’s Club locations with a pharmacy – that’s 622 locations! I know most parents like myself pop into Sam’s Club to stock up on essentials and most of us are there on a weekend. While you’re out, why not stop and make a point of checking on your health?

The screening stations from higi are able to assess your blood pressure, pulse, weight, and body mass index (BMI). You’ll also be able to track your health information over time and share it with others through higi’s online platform, which can aggregate data from over 80 health devices, activity trackers and apps.

The higi self-service stations will be at all Sam’s Club locations with a pharmacy. I can’t wait to stop my by local Sam’s Club and check it out!
This weekend is the perfect time to start taking charge of your health. Sam’s Club is kicking off their “Healthy at Heart” screening on Saturday, February 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m at all locations with a pharmacy.
During the “Healthy at Heart” screening, you’ll be able to get all of the following tests:
- Total cholesterol
- HDL (good cholesterol)
- Blood pressure
- Body Fat Percentage
- Glucose
- Vision (not available at all locations)
- Hearing (not available at all locations)
Use the Sam’s Club locator to find a club near you – remember, the “Healthy at Heart” screening is this Saturday February 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you can’t make it this weekend though, the higi “self-service” stations will actually be at Sam’s Club from now onward. They are available to the public for FREE – you don’t have to be a Sam’s Club member to try it.

If you try a higi station, let me know! I can’t wait to stop into my local Sam’s Club to try it.

This is a really good perk of being a Sam’s club member. Free health screening services are so good to help people find out where they are with their health care.
I would like to use the free health screening service.
It is nice to know they will have the self-service” stations. It’s great they offered the Healthy at Heart” screening this last Saturday.
