Taking Care of My {Smart} Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer #WhirlpoolMoms

I’m still loving my Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer, but we are still getting to know each other. We are two months in and I know there is so much that I still don’t know. Luckily, my washer and dryer are super smart.

My Whirlpool Washer always tells me when it’s time to be cleaned. That’s right, when it’s time for the washer to be cleaned (usually once a month), an alert will pop up telling me to clean it with affresh cleaner.

There’s even a special cycle for when you want to wash your washer.

Once you put the affresh tablet in, it cleans the washer for an hour with HOT water, which is good because my washer can get pretty dirty.

I love how the washer tells me what to do!

Just like it’s so easy to clean the washer, it’s easy to clean the dryer too. The lint filter is right in the front of the dryer and is one of Hayden’s favorite things to help with. That’s right, it’s so easy a toddler can do it!

It’s that easy!

Right now, my favorite feature of the Whirlpool Duet Washer is the Precision Dispense Ultra. Once again, my super smart washer tells me when it’s time to put more detergent in.

I can then choose what concentrate my detergent is. Remember, you can only use High Efficiency Laundry Detergent!

In case you forget, there’s plenty of reminders about only using HE Laundry Detergent.

With the Precision Dispense Ultra, I pour the detergent into the cartridge. The cartridge will hold up to 18.5 oz of liquid detergent, which means 36 loads of laundry, depending on the cycle!

Over on the dryer, my favorite cycle is definitely the Wrinkle Shield with Steam. There’s many times that I just want to refresh a garment or NOT use an iron (don’t we all) and this wrinkle shield lets me skip the ironing.
