Where were you 10 years ago?
In 2001, I was 17 years old and a senior in high school. While going to school, I was working almost full-time at Target as a manager. I was going to be attending college to be an Early Childhood Teacher. I had just met Heath, who is now my husband.
10 years later and I’m married, mother to an adorable 3 year old and working at home and blogging. I’ve had so many wonderful times and difficult times over the past 10 years, but I wouldn’t change a thing. I truly love my life!
This month, Windows XP and Microsoft Office is 10 years old. Can you believe it’s been that long? I remember using it in high school, as I stayed up late at night writing final papers. Now, it’s still a daily part of my life (except I’m using Windows 7 now, of course!) and technology has came such a long way.
What were you doing in 2001? How has technology changed for you?
Disclosure: As part of the Windows Champions blogger program, I have been loaned a Windows 7 PC for the next year. I will also have the opportunity to learn more about Windows and Microsoft. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

In 2001, I was a freshman in college. 19 years old and ready to take on the world. I was also totally addicted to the Sims as well at the time

You’re making me feel old – I graduated college in 2001, so I was at that point where I was finally out in the real world and… NOW WHAT? What a crazy difference that carefree life was compared to now, though!
(Love the pics! You’re so young and cute in the first one and the Cardinals family shot is adorable!)

10 years ago I just started the job I am at now! I was living a care-free single life. It would be another 5 years before I would meet my husband and start my new life.
