A little while ago, my husband and I installed the Delta 58472 In2ition Two in One Arm Mounted Showerhead.
I watched the how-to video on the In2ition Showerheads while he did the handy work and it took no time at all! We armed ourselves with an adjustable wrench and thread seal tape and were ready to go!
Delta offers a number of videos in their Video Gallery. This is where I found “Changing a Shower Head and Adding a Hand Shower”. The first portion of this video was applicable for us.
It was so simple! You don’t even have to go through the bother of shutting off the water supply. First, we took the old showerhead off using an adjustable wrench. Since it had been there as long as our home has, it took a bit of muscle power to take it off. But the only real problem we ran into was that our old showerhead arm tried to turn in the wall! Be careful of that. The video was helpful in wanting you against this trouble! I held the base as my husband carefully used the wrench to turn it counter clockwise. We cleaned off the existing thread seal tape with a dry washcloth. We replaced it with new seal tape. The Delta 58472 In2ition Two in One Arm Mounted Showerhead screwed back on easily and we didn’t have any issues with leaking. It was ready to go right away!
This project was much easier than I thought it would be. We watched the Delta video on how to install a showerhead and took a few simple notes. We had it done within a matter of minutes from start to finish. I was hesitant to start a project like this before, as I had never replaced one before. We have done many other home DIY projects, but this by far was the easiest! And with some of the best results too: the kids can rinse themselves and it makes rinsing when cleaning so much easier. We were also very happy with how it looked in our kid’s bathroom. It combined functionality and good lucks perfectly!

I love Delta products! These are the only shower heads we have in our house.Almost every other brand we had before would break after a while, not these. 🙂
i put a handheld showerhead in (with a longer hose) to wash my dogs….made life SO much easier! Delta makes quality stuff.
