I’m so excited to welcome Trisha to Sippy Cup Mom! She is a mom of twins and a toddler!
I have 3 kids under 3 – an almost 2.5 year old boy and twin 5 month old girls. With my first child, diaper bag packing was an extreme sport – I laid everything out, wrapped things in individual baggies, counted and recounted supplies to ensure I had every possible medicinal gadget and potion I owned in travel size (with labels on dosage amounts of course). I was ready for ANYthing a baby could throw at me while shopping at Target for a terrifying span of 45 minutes. This time around I’m a little more aware that I don’t need to bring the entire nursery to run an errand, even with 3 kids, and that I will never have everything together.
Now that you know a little about my needs, I’ll let you know how the Ju-Ju-Be BFF works for me. My first impression was fantastic – the fabric is lovely; the satiny light colored trim and lining just looks and feels luxurious. It’s HEAVY in a good way – the seams and padding and zippers are all incredibly strong. This bag is going to last forever! The metal hardware is extremely rugged but somehow cute – teeny bejeweling on a metal buckle? Adorable!
My other impression was OMG HOW am I going to fit ALL THE STUFF in this bag? It looks so small! I will admit I had a little panic moment. As soon as I started laying out all I was going to put in there, I was certain it wasn’t going to work but alas, all our stuff fit and it fit well. I usually carry about 3-4 hours worth of supplies – 6 diapers for the babies, 2 for toddler, wipes, 2 bottles (plus powder formula and a water bottle or the ready to feed bottles), 3 burp rags, 4 – FOUR – onesies or outfits for my refluxy baby, a couple of a+a swaddles, a sippy cup for the boy, toys, snacks, plus all my mom pocket stuff. The zippers zipped smoothly and all of it stayed inside even while rolling around in my cavernous minivan! My previous bag had an open top and it frustrated me to no end when I’d later find dirty bottles under the seat that had been festering in the 100+ degree Texas heat – blech.
The mom pocket is awesome – I have zero need for a separate purse anymore, it fit everything and then some. We put immediate use to the changing pad and it is so nice and squishy, much better than the cheap ones that come with most diaper bags. I even threw a wet diaper in the bag and forgot about it until the next day, oops! Usually that means a fiercely stinky bag (again, TX heat) that has to air out in the sun before it becomes usable again. Not so with the BFF, it’s treated with an antimicrobial (anti-stink) material and there was seriously ZERO smell in that bag 24 hours later! I also enjoy the ability to use it as a backpack or use the longer strap to shoulder carry or sling it over a stroller handle. I usually have a baby in an ergo so I’ve been using it shoulder bag style but at some point the backpack will be a huge lifesaver – hands-free with toddlers is a necessity.
The only cons I can think of are the price (it’s spendy but if there’s one thing a mom needs to have it is a good diaper bag) and the initial smell out of the shipping box was pretty strong. It dissipated overnight but you can tell it’s definitely got some chemical coatings on it.
I am super happy with the Ju-Ju-Be BFF and I would highly recommend it to any friend of mine! It’s available online for $165.00

That looks like a great bag! That is fantastic you were able to fit all that stuff in without the bag looking like it won’t zip!
This is an awesome diaper bag that can double as a purse. I won’t be needing any more diaper bags but this would make a great shower gift.
Wow – I love all the compartments – great, I would use this even though I don’t need a diaper bag. Love it.
Even I like a bag with a lot of compartments!
Mitch
Look cute!
That’s a gorgeous bag and I love all the compartments too!
Looks like a great bag – I love all the pockets 🙂
I’m totally jealous of this bag! So much room for storing important necessities.
this bag has been on my wish list. We new baby coming, my 4 year old with diabetes and needing my things from my purse I would need 3 bags to carry it all but this one looks like I can do it all in one bag. #dreamoutloud.
Oh that is a nice bag. My oldest son was 2 when my twins were born and I didn’t have a stylish bag. Just a big huge bag that i could dump as much as i needed in. 🙂 I would have preferred something like this though.
The Ju Ju Be looks like such a well made diaper bag from your photos and from what I can see, it can hold a ton of baby supplies too! Nice 🙂
I was wondering how you were going to get all of that in there but you managed just fine. You are one busy Mommy. I think I’d have to have someone with the babies while I ran to do errands. That is lots of work.
Oh I love it! I never had anything fancy when my kids were that young. I always wanted a super cool diaper bag, but never had one.
