I previously talked about traveling with my new Motorola Xoom and how it helped me to stay in touch with my family at home. In the past month, I’ve been traveling even more and the Xoom has been right by my side.
We traveled to Disney World earlier this month and I knew the Xoom would be going with me. I made sure I charged it overnight, but the Xoom has an awesome battery life. Standby time is 14 days, while browsing over wifi is 10 hours and watching videos is 10 hours.
I mentioned in an earlier post, but one of my favorite things about the Xoom is the fact that while it’s running on 3G, you can have up to 4 devices connect to it. In fact, while driving the looooong 16 hour drive to Disney World, I was able to access the internet on my laptop and my friends in the car behind us were able to connect to the Xoom and use wifi on their phones too!
I also was recently in Los Angeles and loved the fact that I could carry my Xoom with me. Whenever there wasn’t a place with wifi, I could use my Xoom or my phone. I only wish I was able to let everyone connect to it!
I also love the fact that I can catch up with television shows that I missed on the Xoom. Unlike the iPad, which doesn’t have flash, the Xoom lets you visit a website and watch the show. This way, I was able to catch up on the latest episodes of How I Met Your Mother that I missed.
The other great thing about the Motorola Xoom is that it saves you from having to lug around a ton of different devices. All you need is the Xoom!
The Xoom can be your music player, your Nook or Kindle, your camera, video camera, alarm, give you access to Google Talk so you can video chat and so much more!
What do you think your favorite feature would be on the Motorola Xoom?
Disclosure: I am receiving a Motorola Xoom to review as part of my participation in the Verizon Wireless Midwest Moms Program. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

It sounds like the Xoom is really an “all in one” type device! I especially love that you can access videos and my favorite, Google Talk!
