It was so fun to watch my children watching this movie! I wasn’t sure if the format was going to keep all three of their attention-but they spent the whole 140 minutes singing along to the catchy tunes, doing their best to mimic the Wiggles’ dance moves and free-style dancing on their own. Sometimes they did all of the above! My two year old laughed and clapped along to the opening number, “Toot Toot, Chugga Chugga, Big Red Car”. Our four year old is a bit more reserved; he bobbed his head in the beginning, but by the end he was happily dancing with his sisters! Our oldest, who just turned six, got a huge kick out of the jokes! She said that she “just had to remember them” to tell her grandparents. It was a really fun family time and although we were watching a movie, we were getting exercise and having fun too!
The Wiggles’ Big Birthday! has a bit of everything! It has a collection of some of the best clips from the studio releases along with content from their tours and a 60 minute documentary on the first twenty years of the Wiggles. The special features include a music video with Al Roker, weather man extraordinaire!
The Wiggles Big Birthday! DVD invites children aged two to six to sing, dance and wiggle along with Murray, Jeff, Anthony, Sam and their friends Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus, and Dorothy the Dinosaur as they celebrate their Big Birthday.
