Below there is a list of tips, Jessica has put together to help you out when you’re stuck for ideas decorating your dream wedding venue.
Rock Beautiful Fairy Lights
Fairy lights make everything look better, right? Allow your venue to shine brightly through the dream of your wedding with the tiniest yet brightest lights. It’s a cute added extra and not many people think about having fairy lights throughout their venue but it’s a beautiful touch when the party turns to evening. You can wrap them around the legs of your tables or have them around the dancefloor, there are so many possibilities! Don’t pass up the opportunity to use fairy lights to the best of your ability.
Drape Ceiling Details
From paper flowers to pieces of cloth, there are so many possibilities you can utilize when draping your ceiling decorations. Having these decorations is a nice touch if you have chosen a larger room or venue as they can often seem too big, it adds some personality and closeness to the whole room. Be sure to stay within your color theme though, you want everything to match perfectly, even if it only the ceiling details.
Add Floral and Extra Features
Brides often carry a bunch of flowers, but they forget, you can actually add floral accents to your venue. They often look amazing too. Take the same bunch you will hold as a bride and scatter them around the venue, perhaps adding them to the edges of chairs and in vases in the center of tables. You’re not going to regret a beautiful looking venue, even if it costs you a little bit more from your budget.
Keep Wedding Clothing Color in Mind
Whatever bridesmaid dress color or theme you have chosen is essential when you’re decorating your venue. Even if you opt for white flower girl dresses, you need everything to align correctly. Pastel colors are chosen as color themes as they look great as a venue color too. Similar colored ribbons on the back of the ceremony chairs is an excellent choice if your dressing store has some additional material.
Handmake Decorations to Stay in Budget
It may take you a while to handmake decorations, but they’re always the most beautiful. This is a great idea for anyone who thinks of their wedding as a project rather than a dreaded day they want to be over. You can use paper or card to create amazing decorations, and they will come at a fraction of the price you would typically pay from a decoration business. Be sure to give yourself enough time to sort everything out, and don’t put too much pressure on yourself either!
