If we choose your blog, we will link back to your post the following week.
Heath and I knew we were ready to add to our family and decided if it happens it happens.
6 months later it happened! 😉
We thought that we were going to try for Baby #2 last fall but then decided against it. We want to add a 3rd bedroom to our house. It’s also really silly but we wanted to go on a family trip to Disney World just the three of us.
Now we are thinking maybe this September. But I’m torn! I love our little family of three! But I know everyone says when you have a second baby your heart just expands! 😉
I know what you mean about loving your little family of 3. I sometimes wonder the same thing, should we, will we have enough money, etc. But I love thinking about it like you said, "When you have a second, your heart just expands!"
We couldn't decide if we wanted to try or not for a second child. As you know, we had a boy the first time and I was pretty devastated by it. My husband was (and still is) dead-set on only having two kids, but his family pretty much only produces boys so we spent a lot of time deciding if we wanted to try on our own or go the adoption route. I still wish we would have went with adoption, but there were several major factors against us being qualified candidates. After a lot of debating and researching, we decided that we wouldn't try but we wouldn't prevent, either. About two weeks later I was pregnant (if we had superhuman powers, they would be fertility related).
Personally I don't think there's every really a "right" time to have any child. It's always going to have challenges…but that's just me.
I kinda felt that way too, but I was so happy when the 2nd came along!
I think whenever it happens is the right time – I bet your family of 4 will be perfection!
Yeah, we're still considered a young couple with kids. We love that we had them so young. Every child is different as well. We can't think of everything, lol
