Welcome to week 28 of Toddler Talk Thursday! Where Family and Life in Las Vegas, Crazy about My Baybah, and My Life as a Sippy Cup Mom talk all things Toddler!
Each week the hosts will travel around to each blog that links up, and pick an idea, story, or picture they think was a great example of that weeks topic. In order to qualify for this you need to blog about this week’s topic, and follow the hosts. Comments letting us know you are participating are always great too. If we choose your blog, we will link back to your post the following week.
We have not put Hayden into a big boy bed yet. We have asked his doctor and his doctor told us if he is not trying to get out of the crib then don’t worry about it!
Hayden got out of his crib once when he was 1 and we were able to adjust the crib bed almost down to the floor. Seriously the mattress is only about 4 inches off the ground. A lot of our friends are jealous that are crib can be lowered that much! 😉
Hayden loves his crib. He is so cozy in there with his 2 pillow pets, 2 blankies, a couple stuffed animals, books and whatever other toys he drags in.
We are probably going to move him into a twin bed later this summer. I’m sure we will change his room into a Toy Story theme also!
Hayden does pretty well in big beds though. When we go out of town he will sleep in a bed and also when he goes to Grandma’s house he will also!
I’m fully expecting some setbacks when we do it at home.
Any tips?

I can’t believe your crib goes that low to the ground! That’s awesome! We used my old crib from when I was a baby, but will get a new one next time since it is a dropside crib and they are unsafe. We lowered it but it was always at least a foot off the ground..great for storing stuff but not for climbing toddlers! lol

That is awesome that your crib goes so low. I am going to have to ask hubs if ours goes any lower.
I love the picture of your little angel.

I can’t believe your little guy is still in his crib and loves it. That’s really cool your crib goes that low to the ground too. Belle is still in her crib and were not thinking about moving her. Not really sure when were going to either.
