How much fun is it dressing your child? When I first found out that I was having a boy I immediately went to the store and started buying clothing! It is so much fun and the fun hasn’t stopped!
When he was little I loved dressing him up in jammies and rompers. I just thought they were the cutest!
Now he pretty much dresses like Daddy! 😉 Polos and shorts or jeans.
When he is lounging around the house he is usually in athletic pants and a t-shirt.
We do have some character shirts which are mostly Mickey Mouse or Toy Story.
I get the majority of his clothing from Old Navy or Target. I have started giving him options in the store and he is actually picking out what he likes!
Every morning I also let him choose between 2 shirts and pick out his jammies at night. I started doing that because he would throw tantrums when he was wearing a shirt he didn’t like!
I cannot wait until the little guy can pick out his own clothes too. I guess it is a good and a bad thing;)
We must be the same person, because I obsessively shopped as soon as I found out I was having a boy too. lol
I would definitely say that Little Rocker dresses just like his daddy now. I just think it's so adorable when they're wearing similar outfits when we go out. 🙂
I'm actually pretty terrible about dressing the boy. But then, I'm pretty terrible about dressing myself.
Such a fun topic! I love dressing Gillian Grace. In fact, her wardrobe is far more extensive and EXPENSIVE than my own. I love traditional smocked bubbles and rompers. We're so fortunate here too in the South because of the dozens of specialty boutiques that sell these types of clothing. Plus with the internet my options are limitless…which is a great thing, just not for the bank account!
Your idea of giving him choices between things you already approve of is a GREAT one!
