Welcome to Week 38 of Toddler Talk Thursday! Where Family and Life in Las Vegas, Crazy about my Baybah, and My Life as a Sippy Cup Mom talk all things TODDLER!!
** If you want to follow this on twitter – or plan on tweeting your post – please use hashtag: #letstalktoddler **
Each week the hosts will travel around to each blog to see what topic your suggest for the following week. If we choose your topic – you will be our featured blog.
Keep the GREAT suggestions coming. We have an on-going list we will choose from each week. Some topics are ones we have done in the past – but that doesn’t mean we won’t revisit them!!
In order to qualify for this you need to blog about this week’s topic, and follow the hosts.
And the end of your post – suggest a topic for next week.
Comments letting us know you are participating are always great too. If we choose your blog, we will link back to your post the following week.

For my 19 month old twins, I pack a couple of milk cartons (the kind that you don’t need to chill), two bibs, and disposable stick-on placemats. I usually carry a breakfast bar or sammy jammy, just for emergencies. I take 3 diapers each and wipes. If I’m going somewhere that doesn’t have good food, I will pack a nibbler tray for each of them, with an ice pack to keep it cold.
In my car, I have a bin that I try to keep stocked with spare clothes, extra diapers, wipes, hand sanitizer, small first aid kit, juice boxes, snacks, etc.
I thought I wasn’t carrying a lot these days, I swear I packed the kitchen sink when they were newborns. But, now that I look at it, I still haul too much with me. It is a lot easier, not having to pack bottles and rarely packing meals. I can probably switch to a small bag- hurray!
LOL, with twins it’s better to be safe than sorry! Good idea on putting stuff in the car!
It was either put it in the car, or hire someone to carry around the 80 lb diaper bag!
I too love that I don’t have to lug around a huge diaper bag! If we were gone all day it would be soooo big! Now if only she would potty train…..lol
I’m right with you! Potty training please!
It really is nice when they’re bigger and need less STUFF!
I love it! I can have a fashionable purse again!
Seriously? One day, I actually get to own a cute purse again?…..You will hear me singing when that happens!
I got to the point with my 2nd child when I realized I was often taking way more than I needed! Now even though I have a 1yo, we still rarely take a huge bag anymore. It’s such a freeing feeling!
I love not having to lug around a tun of stuff too! No more diaper bag for me!! 😛
