Last week, I shared with you how I was prepping for Hayden to start school by stocking my pantry with back to school essentials like Wet Ones® Singles and Pepperidge Farm® Goldfish Crackers. Hayden always bring his lunch to school since he’s pretty picky so I’ve been busy trying to think of some fun lunch ideas to make sure that he actually finishes his lunch!
I think a lot of times I think it’s all about the presentation when it comes to kid’s meals. So when it came to a fun lunch for the first week of school, I decided to make an Under the Sea kid’s lunch featuring a submarine sandwich – mean Hayden loves subs!
Turn a simple sub sandwich into a magical submarine that goes under blueberry waters where bright orange Goldfish swim around! Hayden absolutely loved this lunch and best of all, it’s SO easy! All I did was cut a bendy straw in half to add to the top of the sandwich and loaded up the compartments with blueberries and Pepperidge Farm® Goldfish Crackers. Toss a few of the Pepperidge Farm® Goldfish Crackers on top of the blueberries to make it look like they are swimming in the deep blue sea!
Now, if you think your little one is washing their hands before and after each meal at school, I’d think again. I mean, MAYBE there are a few kids that do it but I know my little guy isn’t. My secret? I include Wet Ones® Singles in his lunchbox, sometimes putting it in with the actual food so he can’t miss it.
Wet Ones® Singles are a necessity in every kid’s school lunch, cleaning hands and killing 99.9% of germs! Germs are always running rampant in schools but with Wet Ones® Singles, you can help cut down on that in the lunchroom.
