We purchased our house about 7 years ago and we are now slowly doing a lot of updates to it. We recently have added a third bedroom and are currently working on finishing our basement to give us some more room. Since I’m up all hours of the night with the twins, I’ve been watching a lot of HGTV and the next project I’ve got my eye on is the kitchen!

Last year, we received updated appliances so we are all set there, but other than that our kitchen is old. The cabinets are not a great color and I would love to replace the counter top. Until we have the time and money to replace those things, I’ve been browsing online to see what kind of changes we can make by buying new kitchen fixtures.

I’d love to be able to add some new cabinet handles which would give the old cabinets an updated look. Accent tiles added on the backsplash would definitely make it pop too!

You wouldn’t think it, but a new sink could add a lot to the kitchen too! After seeing them featured on a few HGTV shows, I’ve had my eye on a gorgeous Farmhouse Sink. I absolutely love the look of the kitchen faucet on the sink below.

I also love the idea of a wall mounted pot filler. This is definitely something I never thought I wanted but after using one in a vacation home, it definitely came in handy. If you cook a lot, this would be a definite must in your kitchen!

When browsing through kitchen fixtures, I came across something that I know my husband would say belongs in our kitchen! A beer dispenser!

I think it would probably be better in our basement but the built in beer dispenser in the kitchen would be very cool – great for parties, but not for little ones!
