In the past 6 months, we have added on an additional bedroom, replaced the tile in our bathroom and kitchen and started finishing our basement so we will have more living space plus a kid’s playroom. We have lived here for almost 7 years now and we are just finally getting around to updating our house from the 1950’s. Why we chose to wait until we added infant twins into the mix, I have no idea!

Every time we finish one project, I’m always itching to do the next one. Next up for us? Replacing the bathroom vanity in our house! I’m not sure exactly how old it is, but it’s not that attractive looking! I’ve thought of staining the cabinet and replacing the handles but I think I’ve finally convinced my husband that we just need to replace the whole thing and start looking at new bathroom vanities!

Our outdated vanity

There are so many different bathroom vanities out there so my husband and I sat down to take a look at them all. At first I was thinking I wanted to go for a more old fashioned look and started looking at antique vanities. I just love how elegant the one below looks and I think it would look beautiful with the updated tile we have in our bathroom.

As much as my husband and I both LOVED the vanity above – especially the bowl – we decided it wouldn’t be that practical with three kids trying to wash their hands and brush their teeth. Luckily, after some browsing I found the PERFECT modern bath vanity for us!

I’ve been wanting a white kitchen for awhile now but it just would be too much work. The next best thing for me is a white bathroom! The flat sink is perfect for the kids and look at all that storage space! With 3 kids that is the perfect vanity to store everything they need from getting ready in the mornings to nighttime baths!
