Holiday traditions are so important for my family. I love that my little family is celebrating both traditions that my husband and I grew up with but also creating new ones. With Valentine’s Day approaching, we are starting two new traditions and I’m so excited about them. The first is that I’m going to give my three kids a heart attack – no, not that kind! – by putting hearts on their bedroom doors and each morning writing something I love about them on a heart. I absolutely can’t wait to do that but I’m really excited about the Valentine’s Day Baskets that I put together for my three kids! Valentine’s Day is already sweet but you can make it even sweeter this year when you surprise them with one. Why let Easter get all the fun?
I love celebrating Valentine’s Day with my family. As much as we love on each other, it’s just a day where we can show them even more love. Since having three kids, it’s definitely become harder to divide my time between them and spend time with them individually. So while I knew that I was going to load up their Valentine’s Day baskets with delicious Hershey’s candy, I also wanted to include a note with each one that would tell them we were going to be doing a special outing or project together. It’s so important to have that individual time with your kids!
Of course, you can’t have a Valentine’s Day basket without candy! I filled up their baskets with Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Hearts filled with Caramel {my new favorite!}, Reese’s Peanut Butter 5 oz. Heart, Jolly Rancher Lollipops and more!
If you’re looking to start a sweet new tradition this Valentine’s Day, make baskets for your kids with and send a #HSYMessageOfLove!

Like you, I always make gift baskets for my grandchildren. I do a mixture of baked goods, candy and books. They love it! Also do it for Easter.
