The grandparents always get such a kick out of the kids making them special hand made gifts for the holidays. Get out your Kids Art Supplies and check out the many Valentine’s Day kid crafts you can do as gifts. But here is one that you can do really easily using Stickers, a mason jar, a ribbon, a permanent pen and whatever you would like to fill them with!
We used Melissa and Doug’s Sweet Treats sticker set that I got from Gummylump.com.
My kids are pretty young still, so I cut out a few stickers, and tried to make it a theme for each child. If you have older kids, the more hands-off you could be, letting them flex their own creative muscles!
The stickers stuck perfectly to the glass jars! Just a little rubbing and they stayed put! We added a little ribbon and then decided to put flowers in the first one. Since it’s a little early to see flowers blooming, I used some coffee filter flowers I had made previously. In the second, we put actual large candy hearts, pre-packaged. Might be a good valentine for a teacher? And the third had a simple candle in it. This one would be for the kid’s Great Grandma.
