This was his reaction:
Sunday we had plans on going to Breakfast With Santa at Eckert’s. We are a huge fan of Eckert’s so I knew we would have fun.
I spent all morning talking up Santa and that fact that we were going to see him. He kept telling me that he did not want to see Santa. I thought for sure when we got there he might change his mind.
We went with my Mom, my Aunt and my cousin and we had a lot of fun! We had a family style breakfast and Santa came around right away with Mrs. Claus.
Hayden wanted NOTHING to do with them.
My cousin was excited to see him, but you can see below that Hayden had his head down, avoiding eye contact and pouting.
After Breakfast was done we headed over to their store, which is amazing! I loved looking at all the FOOD and Christmas goodies.
I had no idea there was a ton of other stuff included with the Breakfast With Santa.
First, we got to decorate cookies!
Hayden preferred to just eat the frosting straight.
There were also crafts…
and face painting!
I was excited to see that there was ANOTHER Santa in the store!
There was no line so I just decided to put Hayden on Santa’s lap and run.
To my surprise he actually sat on his lap! No crying! Just playing with his beard and talking to him!
Luckily, I got a much better picture that they took!

It turned out much better than last year’s photo.

My little 5 month old had no problems BUT my little 2 year old does not like Santa again this year! Luckily the photographer got the pictures when he was catching his breath between cry/screaming and it actually turned out pretty good!!! LOL
You had a much better Santa expierence then we did. Belle screamed.
It's hit or miss at this age! My son was weary at first, but then warmed up to Santa and we got a few good pics this year.
Alex was pretty unimpressed with him. I was expecting a bigger reaction. Glad you got a good one!
Haha I love the last years photo! lol. I want to take Natalie to see Santa this year. Last year she was only 2 months old so she didn't know what was going on.

In fact, he's only afraid of the statues in his dad's store. LOL.
I'm so glad you found that other Santa and got a good picture! 🙂 That first picture made me giggle! Looks like it was a really fun time! I can't wait to see what Santa brings for Mister Hayden!
