Hopefully you didn’t miss our announcement of the Way Back Wednesday Blog Hop! Check back late tonight for the linky!
I’ve got a awesome new giveaway up where you can win a “Mother is Love” necklace from the Etsy shop EmiliniaBallerina that I posted yesterday.
I also have a new giveaway that I will be announcing tomorrow! So check back!
And I will be announcing the winner of the Handmade phone case from the Etsy shop Tha Meow Designs!
Okay, day two of wedding week! Today will be pictures from our ceremony.
For our wedding ceremony we decided that we wanted to do something outside. We originally thought we wanted to go somewhere like the beach or Disney World. But we decided to do it at home and I’m so glad we did. We didn’t want to get married in a church. We looked all over St. Louis, from wineries to parks. We finally decided on Carondelet Park.Β
We got married on Boathouse Lake, on a small pagoda on the lake.Β
Wow lovly photos…well all but the dead fish π

Congratulations on your wedding! The pictures turned out beautifully!
Awww, I love the photos. And, like you I never think bad about rain at special events, especially since I heard the song "Holes in the Floor of Heaven." I don't know if you've ever heard it or not, but the lyrics say,
"'Cause there's holes in the floor of Heaven
and her tears are pourin' down
that's how you know she's watchin'
wishin' she could be here now
And sometimes if you're lonely
just remember she can see
there's holes in the floor of Heaven
and she's watchin' over you and me."
I love, love, love this song, and the meaning of it. I am your newest follower, and I hope you will follow me, too.

just cried about your grandmother loving the rain, so precious. what a beautiful ceremony!!!
in the philippines, rain (or even a slight drizzle) is considered a sign of good things to come. elders call them blessings from above π
I love your post and photos. Carondelet Park is a great site and thank goodness there is an immediate Plan B in the Pavilion.

Oh, I LOVED looking at your pictures! I laughed out loud at the fun memories you, your husband and your family now have! Your wedding was GORGEOUS! Thanks for sharing!!
Hello! I am thinking of having my wedding at the boathouse. How much and through who did you get the chairs? Did you enjoy the experience? Beautiful Photos!
Hey Julie!
We rented the chairs through Weinhardt, they came and set them up and everything and picked them up too. We absolutely loved getting married there! It was very cheap to rent the time through St. Louis County Parks and I just loved the setting. Let me know any questions you have!
