I’m linking up with The Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday! It’s my first time, so be gentle!
I’m inspired by Alissa of Fun Finds For Families, who I got to hang out with all weekend at BlogHer!
Hopefully participating in What I Wore Wednesday will inspire me to get out of the jammies and lounge pants and start wearing some more stylish clothing!
What better time to start What I Wore Wednesday by a BlogHer addition! I wish I would have taken some full on photos of myself, but hey, I didn’t know I’d be linking up!
Friday at BlogHer:
On Friday, I was excited to check out the Playskool Booth and get my picture taken with Oscar the Grouch. I like how my outfit kind of matches him.
I’m wearing a tank top from Sears and it’s the French Connection Brand. I was excited to see it because not only is it super cute, it was on sale for only $8!
My jeans are my trusty Merona jeans from Target. I love these jeans and for some reason they don’t make this cut and color anymore. I wish I would have known that because I would have bought about 5 pairs.
My cardigan is the Mossimo Red brand from Target. I love cardigans and I love the green color. It’s very comfy as well.
Update: I totally forgot about my amazing yellow Jo-Tote Bag! It’s so cute and fits a ton!
PS: I’m giving one away!
Friday night was the Cheap Sally Dance Party. I wore this Jones of New York Dress that I absolutely love.
First, I love black dresses and second, it’s really comfortable. I love the pleats of the dress. The only thing that drives me crazy is when the pleats don’t stay down, which you can clearly see going on in the dress here.
Saturday at BlogHer:
I love this silly picture. Thanks to Serta Mattresses, I was able to attend BlogHer. I carried my new friend around with me, taking pictures!
I don’t have a full body shot from Saturday, so this will have to do!
I love layers and I am constantly layering tanks and cardigans together.
My first layer is a plain brown, lace trimmed tank from Old Navy. Over that is another tank from Old Navy. It’s cream with embellished pink flowers. I love shirts and tanks that are embellished like that.
Over the tanks, I put on a Merona Cardigan. Gotta love Target!
And of course, I’m wearing my favorite Merona jeans!
Update: I have a full body picture! This is my Before Shot for a makeover I received Saturday evening!
Saturday evening, I was one of 12 lucky bloggers who received a makeover from some amazing people!
I’m going to go into much more detail in another post but thank you to Nicole of Mom Trends , Andrea of Savvy Sassy Moms and SO many more!
Okay, first of all, try not to blind yourself with my WHITE legs. Clearly, I should have gotten some kind of spray tan before this.
Next, check out the HOT dress, courtesy of Kiyonna!
I absolutely loved the way the dress fit!
The gorgeous black heels are from Payless and the jewelry is from Stella and Dot!
So that’s it, my first edition of What I Wore Wednesdays! I hope to be back next week! 😉
Love, love, LOVED your makeover dress! So pretty! What I Wore Wednesday sounds like fun, maybe I’ll give it a try next week! 🙂
Thank you! 😉
I know, I didn’t really know about it, but Alissa inspired me! It was fun! Maybe I’ll be pushed into cuter outfits this way!
Looking stylish, sexy, and comfortable – all perfect for BlogHer and beyond. Can not wait to read more about your makeover.
You and I have a very similar style! I always wear tanks with cardis in the winter, but I also live in Texas and can get away with it 🙂
ALL of your outfits are cute! AND they are wonderfully priced?! Awesome! I especially love the outfit you wore for your Oscar picture. Super cute tank top! And as I’ve said before, the lace dress is gorgeous! Woohoo!!!
I loved your before outfit for your make over (serisouly like I wanted to ask you tonight where you got it). But I agree with Carrie about your make over dress. You look HOT! I think you have an awesome style. And I am thinking about doing this as well. =/ but I have no style.
Um… you kinda knocked your first WIWW post out of the park. Love it!
All the outfits are awesome (Target really *does* have an incredible selection, doesn’t it?). I love the mustard-colored bag and that makeover dress is especially amazing.
With a post like this, you’d better be back next week! 🙂
love it! great post! those dresses are hot mama, lookin good!
You looked amazing every day of the conference…and that Serta Sheep made you the hottest number at BlogHer! Seriously jealous!
Obviously the Kiyonna dress is smokin’, but i also REALLY like the cream shirt with embellished pink flowers…so cute and the cardigan completes the look 🙂 And the Jones of NY dress is simple and refined – Nice choices!
All of your outfits are fabulous! I SOOOOOO need a style consultant…… I’m jealous and whining now. I may even be pouting a little….hmph
So cute! I love it all – you’re totally putting me to shame!
