I’m so excited for Disney’s Art of Animation Resort to open up in May of 2012. The Art of Animation Resort is a new value resort for Disney World and will have over 2,000 rooms. There’s a couple reasons why I’m so excited for this new resort!
– Value: Disney World can be expensive and while I love staying at Disney World at any level of accommodations, sometimes a Value Resort is the best choice for my family. Standard rooms will start at $94 and Family Suites will start at $248 a night.
– Theme: The theme of Disney’s Art of Animation are going to feature some of my favorite Disney/Pixar movies and of course my son’s too! You’ll be able to choose from The Lion King, Finding Nemo, Cars and The Little Mermaid! Which one will you pick?
– Room: I can’t even imagine going on a vacation and staying in a hotel room with more than one kid! Just going with Hayden can make a hotel room feel pretty cramped! When we go to Disney World and want to put Hayden to sleep early, we always have to turn the lights off and be quiet ourselves {of course, we usually are wiped anyway after a hard day at the parks!}. With the Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, it will accommodate up to 6 guests and there are 3 separate sleeping areas, not to mention two bathrooms!
– Amenities: I’m excited for all of the things to do! ill I need to leave to visit the parks? {Just kidding!} There will be an arcade, a wet play area, 3 pools and more!

We have been talking about planning a trip to disney with some friends of ours in a year or two. Our kids will all be old enough to enjoy it by then, this looks like a great resort to stay at
