According to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, “making Dubai the city of the future and the world’s best place to live, work and invest has resulted in the resurgence of Dubai’s tourism sector”. It is the result of Dubai’s diversified strategy that drives tourists from a wide range of countries and regions.

Further, the stellar performance by hotels gave a record occupancy rate of 72 percent in the first six months. It is due to Dubai’s diversified strategy and encouraging industry performance, apart from the “Dubai Connect Program”, which the government restored during the pandemic, offering free accommodation, food, and airport transfers.
