Hayden is a huge fan of both The Lorax book and movie! We read the book a few times a week and he definitely gets the message of the book. We recently went on a walk on a local trail when we came across a tree stump. He ran to it and was very upset that someone had torn down a tree to “probably make a thneed”. The look on his face was too funny and we spent the rest of the walk talking about how we shouldn’t cut down trees!
oh the expression on his face!

Great Photo! His expression is like, “are you done taking the picture yet?” lol.

So sweet! I love the sweet innocence of children and their great imaginations 🙂
How sweet! That is one movie I haven’t seen (but my kids have!)
Reminds of that horribly sad story “the giving tree”. What a sad story. I love trees. I had a tree I would climb a few years back, probably went up around 25 feet. It is a Banyan Tree that has lots of knots to put your hands and feet in. I would sit up there and just watch people. Relax, even nap, lightly, so as not to fall. One day I,showed up and the park people that cut the lawn were “trimming” back on the limbs. I cried. They didnt have the knowledge to cut it and should have hired a tree company. I cried, oh I said that. I never climbed that tree again. They took away my place. I love that he loves trees, Read him ” A tree is nice” by Janice May Udry.
That is so sweet! What a innocent and sweet moment to capture.
