Zombie Goats! (and some Halloween fun!)

Thursday night we went to Grant’s Farm to experience their Halloween event with our friends The Callahan Family. 
What is Grant’s Farm? 
Well, when I first started blogging I wrote a post about Grant’s Farm and you can check out their official site also.
We love Grant’s Farm and it’s so close too!
When we walked through the entrance there was a fog machine going and it was really heavy. Hayden got freaked out at that so he held on to me more. The music was pretty scary too as we boarded the train. 
 
I felt like a pretty bad mother after I looked at this picture I captured.
 
 
Luckily I had lovey on us to calm his down a bit.
 
 
The tram was a lot of fun and we went through the Deer Park. We got to see some animals, even though it was dark. A zebra ran right by us so Hayden was excited! 
 
There were lots of lights hanging from trees and some scary figures but we were able to distract Hayden.
 
We were then dropped off at the Tier Garten. There they have more animals you can look at, in addition to feeding goats, some Halloween shows and a carousel. 
 
We decided to feed the goats first. Last time we were here all of the goats were full and not interested in drinking from the bottle. This time they were *zombie* goats! We chose to feed them from outside of the fence and not actually go inside with them. We watched one girl walk in with 2 bottles and she was immediately swarmed by these *zombie* goats. She had about 10 standing up on her and attacking!

When we were finished with the goats, we brought the boys over the carousel. Hayden loves carousels, so I knew he would have a lot of fun. 



I didn’t think he would run to the gate and want to ride over and over again. We only rode it 3 times but if Hayden and his friend Ollie had their way we would have rode it all night.


We walked through the rest of the Tier Garten. They had an area where you could  decorate pumpkins which we thought about doing until we realized it was using paint and glue. Uh, not for these toddlers!


We checked out the *spooky* decorations and then got a snack at The Bauernhof. They also serve FREE BEER. It’s all AB products and you get 2 per person.



After eating and listening to the DJ have a Halloween dance party we went back to the Tier Garten. Dave and Heath practiced their witch *cackle*.


Was it the beer? I actually don’t think so. They are just goofy like that.

We saw Frankenstein walking around so we decided to get a picture with him.

Hayden was NOT happy about that! He just kept staring at him!

 
We did have a lot of fun though and I’m so glad we went!

    The little guy definitely looks fearful in the first picture, but it looks like this improved and fun was had.

    This is why I love Halloween… So many fun things to do! Looks like y'all had a great time despite the shaky beginning. Hayden is a trooper!

    That first picture is a classic! I'm not sure that Gillian Grace would be into all of that and would've been outta there the second Frankenstein got within spitting distance! Glad y'all had a good time!
