The Best Time To Be a Kid is Now!

As we head into the holiday season, it’s the best time to be a kid, right? I love celebrating the holiday with my kids and seeing their eyes light up in wonder whether it’s us putting up our Christmas tree, snowflakes starting to fall or seeing Santa for the first time this year. The holidays are magical and when you have kids I feel like it’s even more so!

There’s so much that we try to fit in to our schedule in just a few weeks of the holiday season but it’s worth it! We love having these traditions that we do year after year. Some of our favorite things to do include:

• Get into our pajamas and drive around the neighborhood looking at Christmas lights.
• Visiting Santa Clause to give him their lists!
• Bake cookies.
• Adopt a family.
• Watch holiday movies while being cozy in our pajamas.
• Decorate a gingerbread house.
• Take pictures for our Christmas card.

The holidays are the best time to be a kid because it’s a time when all of us can be a kid. I love being able to do all of these activities with my kids because it reminds me of my childhood and brings out my inner kid!
